LEARNING STRATEGIES & DEVELOPING CONFIDENCE
Wick DeYoung, M.S., M.Ed pursued a career in education due to his own challenges growing up with a learning disability. This, combined with having taught in the classroom and being a parent, allows Wick to put himself in other's shoes to understand their perspective.
His work with students mirrors the same strong relationships he built as a student with his teachers and support team.
“It allows me to approach each situation with empathy and get to know each student for who they are. It’s ok to learn differently and we need to embrace these differences. What is one person’s strength might be another’s weakness.”
